I’m Sonya, a painter, illustrator, designer, and art director based in Denver, Colorado.

I deliver creative solutions with obsessive attention to detail. I find purpose empowering people through art and design, and I’m drawn to brands that are committed to evolving alongside the needs of their communities. I believe that hands-on exploration leads to the most compelling design outcomes and that design always improves when informed by diverse perspectives. Brainstorming, sketching, and color theory are central to my creative process.

Throughout nearly a decade of in-house, agency, and non-profit experience, I’ve worked with talented teams to create solutions for brands including Nestlé Purina, Duracell, Lagunitas, and the Denver Art Museum. My favorite work involves illustration, branding, and environmental graphics.

I grew up moving around the Midwest and East Coast now call Colorado home. Some things I love include reading, thrifting, yoga, and running. I spend a lot of my time outdoors, working on personal creative projects, and discovering new experiences in and around my city.
